Time & Yoag Publicity Private Limited imagined and realized this fact, and started the project with the air-conditioned and express trains as the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi express. We equipped the executive and air-conditioned chair cars with 10-inch flat-screen LCD sets. These sets offer a wide range of Entertainment products and all latest news. All the sets are wired to a common player/server mounted on the train itself, and the service-provider updates the contents every day. The gamut of contents ranges from news to soaps, and food to cartoons-to-choose from. Our this innovative venture has received appreciation and commendations from the passengers of the train, and officials of the Indian Railways. We are now preparing for providing this majestic entertainment on wheels in most of the air-conditioned and long-distance, express trains of the Indian Railways. Such information & entertainment facilities are indeed a free-of-cost, value-added, exclusive service for them.

Each set of the flat-screen LCD is shared by two passengers on an average. On the basis of this reckoning, an air-conditioned chair-car coach containing 67 passengers required 30 screens, an executive chair-car coach with 46 passengers required 23 screens. Thus, the whole train with 16-coach needed a total of 420 flat-screen LCD sets.
